Why Coach Michelle?

Coaching grounded in sport, science, and real experience.

My approach combines real dugout experience, athletic experience, and a structured, science-informed mindset framework, so athletes get support that is practical, personal, and built for real competition.

🥎

The coach’s perspective

I understand what coaches look for: effort, body language, resilience, accountability, communication, and the ability to respond when things do not go perfectly.

🏀

The athlete’s perspective

As a former NCAA dual-sport athlete in basketball and softball, I know what it feels like to compete, struggle, adjust, and keep showing up.

🧪

The scientist’s perspective

With a PhD in Chemistry, I bring a structured, evidence-informed approach. We do not just talk about confidence, we break it down into skills athletes can practice.

Meet Coach Michelle

Equal parts coach, competitor, and science nerd — in the best way.

Coach Michelle was a dual-sport athlete for her entire career, competing in NCAA Division III in both basketball and softball. Her passion for the game did not stop after college: she moved into coaching and has coached softball for nearly 15 years.

Today, she uses her on-field experience to empower youth athletes through tailored mental training. Her coaching focuses on practical, proven mental strategies that improve performance, consistency, confidence, and composure.

These skills help athletes in their sport — but they also carry into school, relationships, leadership, and life as athletes learn discipline, emotional intelligence, resilience, and mental well-being.

What athletes build:

Confidence

Trusting their preparation and ability.

Consistency

Showing up with better habits and routines.

Composure

Responding to pressure with purpose.

Resilience

Bouncing back from mistakes and setbacks.

The goal is simple: help athletes compete with more confidence, respond with more purpose, and carry those skills beyond the game.
